I'd like to lower the cruiser a smidge, do you think it would work to flip the main leaf over so the eyes are facing down, springs are pretty flat to start with

Not sure, that would make it standard configuration for a factory SO setup.

If you flipped the main leaf you may have clearance issues with the military wrap. Other than that I see no issue.

I'm curious now.
