Shock guru's Fj80 shock???

Had a question for the shock guru's. What shock valving do I need to need to get for a lifted fj80? Looking on summit for shocks and am ready to pull the trigger but don't want to get something too soft or too stiff.

Specs on the rig is an fj80 with 5" ome springs and metaltech 2" spacer. Has a cummins, 1tons and 37"s. I have 26" between the mounts and was looking at 14" travel shocks but not sure on what valving I need to look for. Any help is appreciated!

you would be better off calling 4wheel parts.

Don't really care where the shocks come from as long as they are right.

I don't think you will be happy with any off the shelf shocks. With your mods I'm thinking your vehicle probably leans a lot in turns--this means you need more low speed dampening than most off the shelf shocks provide. Since you have a lot of wheel travel you want the suspension to free up when you hit speed bumps and larger at higher speeds. These needs are best met with a custom valved shock set up for your vehicle.

We could get you set up with some Radflo 2.0 shocks custom valved and with your specified shock lengths. They are also a direct bolt in and will be better money spent in the long run for ride quality. They will cost around $228 each but you won't regret the investment.

Do you offer them for a 5" lift? Link shows 2 and 3. Also can you get them with an eye on the bottom instead of the stud? I figured I was going to have to spend some coin and am cool with that as long as I get what I pay for.

We can have a set custom built to your specs. As long as you can provide me your extended and collapsed lengths I can figure our what your best option is.
