Proffitt's CO shop is just finishing up a couple things, but I should *hopefully*get it mid-April.

I dropped it off April '08.

Will those hubcaps mount on the same rims as the newer hubcaps?

edit: and I need one of his VIN plates too as mine is MIA.

Here is the album with all the pics they have sent me...

https://picasaweb.google.com/1168308...eat=directlink

And Proffitt just sent out a notice of their latest newsletter which talks a little about the 45...

http://us2.campaign-archive1.com/?u=...&id=67d640c022

"FJ45s are some of the rarest, coolest Land Cruisers ever, and we have been busy with custom restoration projects on almost every model 45. This sweet 1967 LWB FJ45 pick-up underwent a full stage 3 custom restoration. It features a 5.3L Vortec / 4L60E drivetrain, 3 inch lift with Proffitt's Cruisers shackle reversal, saginaw power steering, and much much more. We took advantage of the opportunity to get a few pics of it with it's friend, an FJ45 LV of the same year that we featured in last month's newsletter. Look for a detailed photo shoot of both rigs soon in our Stage Three Restoration section."

A lot has changed in 4 years... no longer communist (lol), no longer vegan. I am now a chicken farmer ... well, we started a family farm and we have 135 chickens for eggs, not meat. We are also growing veggies for a couple Houston restaurants. I still have my day job, because the farm will never make money, but it is fun for my wife. The 45 will be our farm truck to take to farmers markets. Which reminds me, I need to get some magnets made for the doors.
