I ordered a few pieces I needed for Rosa from an small Oregon Business, Rock Tactics.
These pieces came to me well packed and I was amazed at the quality of cuts and finish work. Everything had been smoothed on a belt sander. Very nice products. Plus hes a pirate supporter and a guy making great stuff for our hobby.
If you are looking for nice brackets, tabs and such I would hit them up.

Whats the status of your 45 Dan? I am glad you chimed in... I need a axle housing. Toyota 9.5 Center with 80 series knuckle balls. Can I just send you the knuckle balls and the specs and have that done?
Thanks Dan,

You can, I am doing an 80 front (8" HP) and a 9" rear with Toyota outers... I am using Billy Weiss's Hellfire Fab FJ80 knuckles & Hi Steer. Leaf sprung front end and linked rear...Been moving much slower than I want but we are just too busy to devote more time on it.

Well I pulled a Jeremy Wilson

I cant make a decision so I bought both. I now have a 6.0 LQ4 and a 5.3 LM7
The 5.3 has had the harness reworked by BD Turnkey and the ECM done. The 6.0 is stock but it is all there.
I put the 6.0 for sale just out of simplicity of this 5.3 is like 4 wire hookup and the ECM is ready yo go.

What a great find! Would have been great if it stayed period-correct. Either way, good thing it will get driven again

Yea that would be cool but I really just can't stand carbs, drum brakes, manual steering. I heart the feel of the new gen 3 motors

OK a few updates on Rosa now that the fire season has slowed down and I cant work on the Baja45.
I had a 1977 ish fj40 rear I replaced the 3rd with one from a fj60 I parted out, slapped on a disc brake kit I ended up with in a trade. It's a brake kit from MAF I think. Real nice stuff. The brackets were for an FJ60 but with some hole relocation they will fit 40 or 60.

I used the split tcase from the donor FJ60. When I split it to get it off the Transmission it had some warn bearing and such so I decided to rebuild it.
Pretty easy task, just a little time consuming.

I had some troubles with last to pictures. The oil seal between the trans and tcase. Turns out the real early one are slightly larger OD. PITA to find the right one.

After the rebuild I added a Advanced Adapter TH350 to split 19 spline case. Really nice product. I have a rebuilt TH350 coming from Georg.
