Having a dozen cruisers leads to little time. Slowly but surely,. Got a day to work on this amazing 45. I love this rig!

I put a built TH350 with a full manual valve body in this critter. Got the bracket attached to the seat frame to mount the Winters shifter.

Had to notch the tranny hump. I ain't a scared to be hacking up nice 45 stuff to make this fit my vision.
Remember I bought this off the original owner who bought this new in 66 brought it straight home and swapped out the motor to fit his needs. He didn't have a problem messing with this thing and neither do I.

Maybe I'm missing something, but can't that steering shaft flop around with only the center portion restrained by 1 heim?

There is a carrier bearing on the steering column.
I have messed around with it on the shop and it's solid. If it feels weird I will add another carrier on the frame.
