SBC starter recomendations?

Can someone recommend a good gear reduction starter for my 305, I'm tired of the stock ones over heating? Is a 96'/98' vortec Chevy 350 a good one?

Had the same issue after my sbc swap, went to a powermaster and haven't had any issue since.
