10 years of flexing
The bottom bracket looks cracked as well.

The brackets were welded to the housing and not bolted, I guess 10 years later not the best idea...

I need to start the process of grinding them off now

Does any one know if I cut the flange (where it's diagonal) way back when?
If I buy new bolt on brackets ( I think I will be missing the third hole) in the middle?

That's a great idea.
I didn't even think of Dan and he has Awesome Service and Great Products.

I'm going to fab a 3/16" plate in a half moon shape to the inside of the bracket
and weld-it-up.
I need the Cruiser for this weekend, the other side shows no sign of stress.
