Hi there hope some one can help me I have a factory fitted rear Fullfloater diff I want to widen the track as I've fitted Toyota surf hubs to the front to widen my track is there any other toyota hubs that will fit the rear to widen my track this is a FJ40 landcruzer thanks.

I dont want to change the whole diff just thought someone with intelligance might have a suggestion on different hubs its amazing who they let on the web these days, does it cost much $ for aussies to have some one to stand beside them to guide them on how to use a Computer dah its not a TV.

there are some NZ guys on there, its a local forum for downunder wheelers! suprasurf is the man for NZ conversions, and bootiefabbin!

you can run the IFS hubs on the rear, but you need to get a spacer made up that will space the difference in total length of your hub to your axle, this also gives 3"

or a 60 series housing, all you need is a loing side axle and bare hosing, the rest of your stuff (depending on year model) will bolt into the 60 housing, giving 85mm more width

that is using IFS front hubs on the rear full floater to gain width, i got the idea only last month from BJowett on the minitruck boards, and he lives in the US somewhere!

the other thing to think about is truly the 60 series axles, they are a cheap and easy upgrade (for the rear axle)

Thanks for that cool I'm checking that web site out now looks like I'll be here for a while, have you made those spaces up if so how much $ thanks for the help just wondering looking at the photo if I could cut the spacer out of another hub just a thought what do you think.

i think if a FJ/HJ 60 is common in your area hunt around for a wrecked one of them, heaps more benefits, and slap that under, and that gives you 85mm

THEN if you still want MORE width you can do the IFS hubs for another 75mm or so, which would leave you around 6-7" wider

also cutting down an old hub to use as the spacer is a very good idea just attaching the "spacer" and cutting it perfectly to get the right contact surfaces, as long as you sued cone washers on the "spacer" and the axle and as long as you had access to a lathe, and could get the surfaces mated perfectly it would be good!
