spring over steering ?'s
These may seem like a bunch of stupid questions but I'm a newbie so I guess I can ask them. Here goes.Does anyone make a cross over steering arm that will accept stock fj-60 drag link and tie rod ends and if so would I need a modified pitman arm.I know ya'll will tell me I need hy steer but $$$ is a factor for this spring over. Ih8mud doesn't say much about this problem nor does anyone else; please tell me somebody makes one.

If it's going to be really tight, why not postpone the SO till you have the dough? IMHO it's not a modification to skimp on. No offense intended.
You could try one of those double-arms, this is the "classic" way of doing a SOA but it went pretty much extinct since hy-steer came out because it still leaves steering links *under* the springs, as opposed to the hy-steer. |
