Need Shock Tower Measurements
CAN ANYONE GIVE ME A MEASUREMENT OF THE FORD SHOCK TOWERS, HOW HIGH THEY ARE FROM THE TOP OF THE FRAME AND HOW FAR OUT THEY LEAN FROM THE FRAME? THANKS-

Couple of photos of the Ford Shock Towers in my '79 FJ40.
Towers lean in, height from top of frame to the shock bolt is 13". Photo should give you an idea how much sheet metal is trimmed to get them to fit. You can see from the wheel wheel hot much the tower leans out. Note the rubbing (at the bottom of the photo) on the shocks from max articulation. All I need are four walls and roof. ![]() Tom
