does any one know where the cheapest place you can get a box rebuild kit the toyota dealership wants 123.00

same as minitruck gear, so any IFS box kit will work.
my power steer box, rebuild was $198 from yota

plus bearings
$70 each x 3

I was sore for days

lube up!!

BJ on Roids has a good point, the internals of the IFS box are the same. Maybe you could find an IFS box cheap, and swap over the internals.

Or just accept the inevitable, and buy the parts. A good dealer will sell them for $90ish. If you are trying to drive off a loooong trail with yet another blown box, the $90 is a no brainer.... also take into account the time to R&R, and bleed out the system for a second time.

the box is off a 83 fj60 if that makes any differance. he just has my 62 on his brain.
