60/62 A/c

my wife was running the A/C in our 62 and noticed that the carpet was wet, and since i am in korea i cant go look it soooo....what do you all think it could be maybee the heater core leaking(dont know why it would leak when the a/c is on but) or that tube that drains water off the condensor(is it in the cab?) like i said i havent even touched this vehicle before so any insight into the problem would help so i can tell her if she needs to put it in the shop or just deal with the wetness thanks. (oh yeah she didnt complain about any sweet smell so i dont think its anti freeze)

That's happened to me a couple of times, one time the little elbow-shaped drain hose that goes down from the condenser into the passenger's footwell had moved and was draining into the footwell, the second time it was clogged. Tell her to check for that little hose, make sure it's in place and draining OUT, and while she's at it take a piece of wire and snake it through, make sure it's not clogged!

Most likely the A/C drain hose slipped off. Tell her or ask her to ask a neighbor to look under the glove or dash where the leak seems to be coming from should be a hose that has disconnected. Just slip it back on. (plastic tube hose).

That's what I have found to be the problem on most of my cars which have done this.

ditto on my fj60, after finding a pool in the passenger floor I spotted the culprit under the glovebox.

Where is the cruiser located? If around Austin, be willing to take a look to confirm just condensation or ??

Funny one... last weekend Pam was at Home Depot. Battery on her Honda died, called in a panic mode. Zipped over with battery cables, in the 2500HD truck.

Fellow is watching me pull up, hit the jumpers, while CHECKING OUT Pam!!! Funny part, she gives me $20 to pick her up some wine and those nasty cigarettes.... and a big ol' wet kiss. Poor fellow is looking on with an expression of "Damn, wish I had offered to help her!"

He probably thought I was an ass for charging her $20.

Nice choice of truck! Is it your tow rig?
