I have the wide bushwacker flares and want to put fj55 spring on the rear of my fj40. It would move the back axle back several inches and i would have to cut the fender more but i cant remove the front of the flare b/c its already cut out. Is there any way to cut the flare in the middle and move the back part back and make some sort of filler, fiberglass or something that would look decent. I dont want to get rid of the flares entirely

Don't have an answer to your question, however, i am going to be wheeling Poteau this weekend.
Come on down, there are 4 Cruisers from Dallas and a bunch more from Arkansas coming. I will be in the red FJ-40 w/38's at the Black Angus Hotel. <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

I bought a used set and then cut mine in the middle and left the front on and then cut the back half of the used ones I got to fill in and pieced them together. I didnt take the time to make them match perfect or nothing but I think they look fine.
