Slone.. I am planing on making one for my 4Runner, 2 drawers and one storage box between the wheel wells with a hinged cover.. I also plan to hinge the sides in so they can be folded onto the top and it can be slid out in one piece.. I will post pictures when I finaly get it done.. (I also plan to devide the drawers with moveable deviders..

Yeah, in Australia. Unfourtunately, the few models available here are sold by some Cruiser vendors who expect to make 100% profits on them...sigh!
I've been planning on making my own as well and have drawn a few different layouts. One thing to consider is that the top of the storage system be hinged for access, to that you don't have to get out of the truck to have access to the drawers! Cheers! |

Good call on the lids to access the drawer. Henri check out the www.ih8mud.com website that guy on there the one he made for his FZJ 100 is really sweet.

FJ80 Drawer system
This is Jeff Jones storage system. It's really nice. It also has things like 12V power ports wired into it, etc.

there's a company from Australia that makes these units at www.cargodrawers.com the website isn't very good but there's an 800# <IMG SRC="smilies/fj.gif" border="0">
