Land Cruiser Pirate's Raid Toyota Trails!

Todd, fantastic job with the current issue of TOYOTA TRAILS, it turnd out great!

Pirates in this months issue:

BK Cruiser/Krusty Kruiser/Reddog "A Three Hour Trail Ride" ..... the complete story of Bill and Kathy's "Mis" adventure to Deer Valley.

Ross Lake with another "Spot On" Cruiser Musing

Andre Shoumatoff with a great, indepth article on SOA's, complete with a picture of the Drunk Monkey's traction bar, Morgan's Pig and Woody's front axle.....

Box Rocket did a great job writing up the Wasatch Cruisers...

Christo wrote a great, in depth article on the birth of the ShortBus....

Finally, my first installment of Outside the Box, with High5's kick ass FJ-40/Buggy.

Pirates rule this issue! I love it.

Finally, on p56, some dude bought an add to sell the "World's Finest FJ40"

If you look closely at the bottom of the website that is brought to you by vintageoffroad.com I think if I had invested over $100K in a rig over 10 years I might have made room for a spare.

Watched his little 13 second driving clip and the damn steering wheel is crooked. I know that is pretty stupid but for $150K
I'd make that damn wheel straight!!!

Since you are signing up now, you won't be getting this issue, but I have some complimentary issues from every printing for new members that I will get to you after the club meeting in September.

BTW, don't forget the statewide cruiser run at Gilmer on the 27th!

Actually, all new memberships get the latest issue of the Trails in with their membership packets, rather than waiting for the next printing. So, you "should" get this most current issue. This was a recent change by TLCA to address the processing time concerns for new memberships so they have "instant gratification" with the Trails publication.

I have to agree. Besides the fact that our club got some coverage, it was an AWESOME issue! Definitely one of my favorites, possibly the best.

Great work to everyone that was involved. Harold's article was EXCELLENT!!!

Harold was an absolute gas to work with too, and did it all for free. And he has promised a very interesting article in the future....

That's great! Everything of his that I have read is very interesting. Looking forward to the next peice from him.

However, it makes me feel like a total loser and that my life is about as exciting as a drippy faucet. Hell, my biggest adventure consists of maybe going into Arches National Park on my way into Moab.

But one of these days I'm going to build my own schooner and sail around Utah Lake! That will be exciting.

Things are looking up! I got my issue the same time as others, and It's one of the best I've read.I'm only 1/2 way thru too!

So I was thinkin, is there going to be a "PBB Buildup" of Harold's next expedition rig?

Great job to all involved!!
