Red face Tie rod ends?

I checked the prices on FZ80 tie-rod ends today and they are twice as much as ends off of a Blazer which are huge beasty ends. Is there any reason why I shouldn't or couldn't run these ends. I am going to get steering arms from extreme off-road that Jimmy suggested and I think he can ream the ends with the dana 44 taper. I don't see why I need Toyota ends if I do this. Anyone?

Makes sense to me to go with the blazer ends, especially if their half the price. They use them on Dana 60's right?

It's just that everyone was raving about the FZ80 ends which are beefy ends but they cost a lot more. The dealer wanted $45 and auto zone wanted $34. The chevy ends are $19.

chevy: cheaper, readily available, and probably stronger!
