Hi all. I am building a roll cage and I need ideas. I am wanting to use at least 3" diameter bar where possible. Does anyone have a cage built with larger than 2" with a photo I can check out?
Thnx <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

IMO, 3" is WAY overkill and heavier than necessary....go with 2" or 1-3/4" DOM and call it good.
http://woody.ih8mud.com/images/38-5 has some pics of mine with the 2" tubing.

I agree with woody, 3" is overkill.
wait did I actually say that out loud <IMG SRC="smilies/eek.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0"> JK woody! I used 1.75" dom with .120 wall on my exocage. Plenty strong, you could go 2" if you want any larger. There are pics of my cage on my webpage under modifications HTH
