Talking Pic's wanted of Roll cages!!

Hi all. I am building a roll cage and I need ideas. I am wanting to use at least 3" diameter bar where possible. Does anyone have a cage built with larger than 2" with a photo I can check out?
Thnx <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

IMO, 3" is WAY overkill and heavier than necessary....go with 2" or 1-3/4" DOM and call it good.
http://woody.ih8mud.com/images/38-5 has some pics of mine with the 2" tubing.

I agree with woody, 3" is overkill.

wait did I actually say that out loud <IMG SRC="smilies/eek.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0"> JK woody!

I used 1.75" dom with .120 wall on my exocage. Plenty strong, you could go 2" if you want any larger. There are pics of my cage on my webpage under modifications

Hey Bludog. I have a bar somethng like that, and a digital camera too. I emailed you earlier. I will take some shots and send them to you. Anything in particular? Mine has crappy padding all over the place. I'm going to take the padding off when I get the roof off.

If it is going to be an in cab cage, I woould find it hard to reach the cluthch with my foot, bar would be in the way. If it was an exo-cage it would make the rig that much wider. Weight is also a consideration since a cage is mostly above the CG. Just some thoughts and MHO <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">
