Post Small block to H41

I bought my 40 with the Chev in it. What is the most common clutch set up for this type of conversion? The two possibilities that I can think of are 1. Toyota friction friction plate with the rest chevy, and 2. Toyota from the flywheel back. The conversion still uses the original clutch slave cylinder. I am guessing I have the H41 transmission - is there any way to tell?
