lol... Thanks guys, but it is not as great as the photos show.. it is only a quart of navy blue rustoilum put on with a spounge brush.. the sponge brush does help and it is probably way cheaper than cans.. 2 quarts will cost you about $12.00 and it can be sprayed out of a spray gun I hope (I will try this to a "good" set of fenders I have.. and a good hood if I come up with one... But it sure does look nicer than the purple and teal "camo" after I finish brushing it, I can start on wireing it by hand, and get it up and running..
PS anyone ever try putting those rubber ring mounter tractor trailer small round clearnce lights in the grille shell for turn signals?? Maybe even some of those cool LED ones??

Looks great man!!! but with that much rust, I would have used a case of WD-40 first and broke Lazarus down into pieces (replacing the bolts that didn't make it) and took the tub off. from the rust I see on it the frame is going to need some TLC and any seals that have not been covered in grease will start to leak on ya....that pretty blue paint will chip off quickly when you start repairing/replacing stuff, and the bolts that hold stuff on are probably toast. I know cuz I lost 1/2 my bolts takin apart a 69 AZ rig that didn't show 1/4 of the rust that Laz is sportin. Just my .0002 cents worth as always, but you are doin a disservice to yourself and Laz by makin the outside look pretty before you've finished the inside.

Don't forget.. towards the back is mostly rust due to it burning.. But I know of a parts truck with a good frame I would like to buy and replace the tub on it.. this is just a toy to beat the crap out of in the woods and bomb around in.. This thing will get brush painted here and there allot I am sure.. I may throw some diamond plate full sides on it to cover the poorly patched quarters though..

It'll grow on ya bro, before you know it the memories will stack up and you'll want to keep the frame and replace the bent sheet metal, or just cut it off.
