Will 15x12 wheels work on my 72fj?? Will there be a problem with steering or clearance?

I have a set that i gave to a friend, they fit fine, but the leverage will wear out tie rod ends quicker.

They'll work fine as long as you get
3.5" backspacing. I'll have to worry about
rubbing fenders with wide tires.
