Tomorrow morning I am going to put the scattered pieces of my Landcruiser (and my life) back in their proper places. My virgin voyage into the world of Cruisers and auto-machines in general is about to come together. I have all of the components, hardware, rebuilt F-Engine, and wires necessary to bring my '67 back from the dead. I vow not to leave the garage until I can drive that thing into my parents house (I say into the house since I am sketchy on the brakes and stopping may be an issue). Wish me luck - tomorrow I emerge a Man.
Good Luck! You might want to block the tires to avoid any possible damage to the cruiser that the house might inflict.

Plan on spending some big bucks for catering?
Took me a little over a year to redo mine and I'm still working on the details. I'll give you A+ for enthusiasm though.
Well, it is 12pm and I have the motor mounted and I am going to begin adding ancillaries. This rig is gunna drive out of that garage by midnight (then the real work of making it ready to present it to the world begins - and lets face it - that is a project for a decade with the way things go)
As far as catering - I have a dozen donuts and some coffee. I just pissed in the gas tank. I hope you were not joking about that helping to break it in
Later . .
At 3:25am Sunday my neighbors were awoken by a fully ignited Landcruiser. Runs really sweet. But . . (and there is always a but) - I found that my radiator is not a compleletly sealed unit and I am bringing it to an old school radiator repair specialist Wed. morn. My spacers came in today from Performance Wheel in Colorado - they did not send me the corect lugs to seat down into the spacer, so they are sending the right ones second day air, no cost. It was nice to have a company that was eager to fix their mistake unlike this company in CA that I have dealt with that makes you pay for mistakes that were on your end or theirs (company name rhymes with Lan-e-Fre).
I am currently working on the complete re-wire. (are head lights supposed to blink when you turn signal? )
The sound of your Cruiser firing up must have been sweet music - the heck with the neighbors - they have to understand the Cruiser has gotta run and be heard!!
BTW, let us know how you like those spacers, I am thinking of ordering a set for my rig.
