Temp sender bushing sleeve v-8 v8

Since this has come up a few times before in the past weeks, here is what you need to make stock temp gauge work in your v8 conversion...

The bushing on the left is the part Advance Adapters "tricks" you into thinking you need(with NPT threads-same as the Toyota part), when infact the part to the right is the stock temp sender bushing that toyota uses in the heads of F and 2F engines. They look similar right? They are interchangable, and the only difference I can see is the fact that the threads end just a bit further from the hex on the AA part than the Toyota OEM one you have in the engine you just removed.

So, what you need to do is take out the sender and this sender bushing(the one you already have in the F/2F head) and you can screw it directly into the Chevrolet Intake manifold with out and "adapter" like AA claims...

Correct they are all NPT threads not metric standard... Which is why, when you buy an aftermarket temp gauge (mechanical or electric) it will work with pretty much any car.
