j-springs w/ 10mm packers. plans for 1.25" wheel spacers (should work nicely with 7.5" rims and still be able to stuff them) PM you on tundra rims will definitly keep posted on the wear of the tires, with that deep of tread I have feeling the will last a good long time ...my swampers at 10k miles barely wore at all (35" trxus)...and they were pretty soft.K

powder coated wheels
Quote:
First, the sandblaster will never blast chrome again (only 98% came off, I had to do some grinding and chipping after getting them back...so some of the wheels have some grinding depressions and wavy look to the outer rim (nothing that will effect the performance). One of the wheels have a SMALL bit of raised old copper on the face)....NONE of which makes them look terrible when looking as a casual observer...of course, not 'show quality', but we don't do that here! I wouuld say the average blasting/powder coating shouldn't cost more than 50.00 per wheel. I paid slightly less, but I have ties with local dealer. K

true,,,,not going for mileage (wasn't with my previous trxus either, but they seemed to wear great). I get bored quickly and something new may come out when these are worn and ready for replacement...gives me good excuse to get new tires
![]() also, chef, I called a bunch of finishing shops in KC and ironically none of them offered de-chrome services...found a bunch in california though but it's a great tip if you have a service to do this, as the wheels would definitly come out smoother.k
