Yeah, I like them too.....the hoop, fenders and hood weighed in at 168# for all of it.

I am going to play with a few other things in the engine compartment and with Moly for a new hoop and I will be where I want to be as far as weight goes.

Hood is getting painted now and I have a sweet setup I think you guys will like for the blinkers

I am going to use 4 hood pins so I can take it off completely if it looks like I am going to smash it all up...

It came from Trent at Hole Shot Off Road in Utah. He is offering to bring these to Cruise Moab for anyone interested. Free Shipping!!!

They sell for $400 plus shipping and I think I paid $80 to get it here.

Trent is a super guy, ordered it on a Monday and I had it on Thursday of the same week.

He includes stickes for the vent humps *bling* and Dzeus Fasteners as well as 2 hood pins. Extra hood pins are $20 a set shipped.

The thing about this hood is that it is light, yet heavy enough to rest the hood on if needed.

Hood with fenders is 18#

As for smashing it....by the time I FIND a straight steel hood, ship it and get it painted I can have another one of these made OR I can take it to the boat shop down the road and have them patch it up....

I think the hood kicks ass for sure!

Going back to the non bling Ford front shock mounts?

How often did you hit your last set of fenders? It seems to me that they would be ready for abuse..

Was your front bib trimmed for the last set of fenders?

No, that mount was still on there from before. Rusty used it as part of the fenders he made. It too is coming off.

I got some hoops from Shaffer Off Road so I can win a free Diablo

I hit them ofter, but they stuk out more than these do. There is a lot of flex in this hood, hopefully it will take it OK. Those last fenders were increadibly stout and well made. Glad they are staying in the club and going on Dustys rig.

That bib has been like that since the last paint job. The "replacement" bib had a ton of run in the bottom, so I just cut it all out and that is what is left.

I cut the fenders off with a sawzall. Gotta go back with the grinder and eat up some of the leftovers later.

Trent is also the guy who bent and welded up my front bumper. We never did get it finished before he left. He is diehard guy. Definitely not into wheeling to make a buck, just likes cool stuff. And the guy can weld.

That looks so good, can't wait to get my hood from Trent. I was hoping to be the 1st 45 with that hood, i guess i'll be the 1st to run 39s on it though. There should be a smiley face but can't find it anymore.

Those are 40" MTRs

Tracy, the hood will look SMOKIN on your rig too. I see you ditched the idea of using the '45 as a tow rig, huh?
