yep, i have rick's list, and by the looks of it, i already have 5 "new" wagons to add to it.
the pickups are a different story, since there really was'nt a list before, so that one is gonna take some time and work

The 65 LWB is 20780.
The 65 SWB is 21615 The 45LV just sent to CO was a 22250 I'll try and round up a few more I know of. You missed a great rally in Bakersfield. Doc's truck almost went up in flames! Mark

I will check with my customer in Boston, he is purchasing a FJ45 off another custmer of mine and having the body off frame for a new colour. I mentioned the 45 registry.
Sounds great........... I have been moved towards the dark side ever since Pimps new purchase and have been looking for decent 45LV to build. I beat around the idea of 74s, 55s and there is no suppliment for the cool look of a 45LV. Anyone hearing of a FJ45LV I will be looking in the next month or so as I will be unloading my BJ60. I have the cash now for the right unit now if something comes up. Rob www.raddcruiser.ca

tres s' truck that went there was a pile. It had a poor entire floor replacement (flat plate) and some bad corrosion issues. I doubt it would ever come back to life.
georg- that is one thing also that should be noted- there are a bunch of parts 45 wagons that will never come back (I parted out 13/14 between 1998-2000). you should note if a truck is on the road, if is DOA, if project in works (a real project, not something like Rod Wiggins which is cooked). Prices still are not that bad, I picked up trucks for $600 delivered to my door and paid too high on the other end 2 times (both, sadly I parted out). I don't want to quote what I saw even during the internet high, but I would say rust #1, body damage/incomplete truck #2 as critical buy features. A rusty one is not worth squat. Remember, front sheet metal does not play into rust issues (its only the rare stuff from firewall back). and I have only seen 3 frames that were bad- the lead paint used in the 1960's held up far better than many imagine.... |
