Do you even have a cruiser that runs?
I don't think you'll fit 35's with TIC parabolics without raising your front fneders, and trimming a lot of wheelwells. When we were taking the photos of Eric's 45 for the TT article, he blew a 33, and all we had for a spare was one of my Q78 swampers. Very litte room to spare up front with it actually mounted and aired up...

Screw you Chef...

For the record, all four of my cruisers run. Some better than others but they all run. Would that be the same in your house?

Thanks for the info on the limitations of the parabolics with a spring under cruiser. More and more I am being drawn into the SOA world (even with my garage queen). My problem (if it is a problem) is I find a lot of satisfaction in working on my FJ40 - sometimes more so than actually wheeling it. I guess all of my traveling on business plus working in an office all day results in the need to wrench rather than sit behind the wheel.

Troy

Hey Troy;
TIC do make a "stock plus just a little lift" that they recommend for soa applications. As I understand it, GBR has or should be in reciept of these soon.
Currently, all my junk will move under it's own power, except the 45lwb pup, which is in too many pieces to really count as a vehicle

tic product update

Yo!
Paul Heijstee emailed me to day with this in regards to the "wrong bushings problem" Erik and I had with the 1964 FJ45 install...I think this shows a great commitment to making sure the customer gets a quality product:

Alan,
I am aware of this so I designed and made special bushes to compensate = a
35 mm bush with smaller bolt hole and a small bush with the same hole. The
only thing I don't have is the early shackles and pins so you have to use
original.
So the bushes are a good plan and the shackles not.
Regards
Paul

Hey Paul, thanks for the info and pricing. I'm hesitant to buy shackles and
pins though, because remember this is a 1965 truck...we had some problems
with bushings last time, and I suspect we might with shackles and pins this
time as well? What are your thoughts on that?

thanks, Alan

deal closing

Don't forget, any TIC orders for 30% off must be placed before Feb 15. If anyone expects help with part numbers, tech info, etc, they had better get with Paul Heijstee at TIC today
