Hysteer TRE question
I bought a set of high steer arms from rock buggy supply. When I got them they said they were drilled for toyota TREs. I assumed toyota meant FJ40 since the arms have the small bolt pattern (pre 79). The holes are too big for my FJ40 TREs. I had a 1-ton GM TRE laying around so I checked that as well. It's too big. So what TRE do you think fits? Mini truck? Is the mini TRE thread size the same as the FJ40, can I use my tie rod and drag link?

FJ80??? That seems to be the most common toyota TRE used in the aftermarket HYSTEER kits. My Marlin HYSTEER uses those. Look on their website and see what TRE's they package with their KIT's and that should be you answer.

RBS doesn't have a pic or description of what comes with their kit. Mini truck and 80 series use the same taper but different threads for the tie rod. FJ80 threads are bigger. I'm going to go to NAPA with one of the arms and have them get a FJ80 or mini truck TRE to test fit.
