Oem Cb

Does anyone have any info or an OEM CB installed that they can pass on any knowledge of what wires go where, I vaguely remember something about it wiring into the stock stereo?. I have one that had all the terminals cut off and have no clue as to what wires do how and where. Eventually I will take it to a CB shop but would like to at least find some schematic or ? TIA, Kief. It will be for sale eventually.

It does wire throught the OEM stereo system, but I am still unable to find the specs myself... mine has all the plugs intact...

Is yours the CB40 or the CB23?

Marv (at SOR) has a couple of them, but last time I asked (few months ago) he hadn't tried to hook one up either.

I actualy took mine to a local CB guru... this guy has been selling/repairing/modifying CB's for the last 30 years... he had never seen one, but said it looked alot like other brand ones he had come across, so its possilble they are a rebadge. He tried to figure out the wiring setup, but unless I was willing to leave it with him and pay some $$$, the two of us couldn't get it figured out... I hooked mine up a few years ago... it transmits OK, but I can't get the ext speaker (that I had hooked up) to work...

Lemme know what you find.

It is the CB 40(M)? I believe. Novel yes, as good as a modern unit, I doubt. Must not be too old as it has a digital read out- late 70's.
