Okay then........ Mark shot a quick pic of the LV. I will get him to send it to me and post it tomorrow.

Your gonna be grossed out.....................

Heres what we saw, the guy did the worst butcher job V8 conversion I have ever seen. Get this though he took the drive shafts and put the front on the back and the back on the front. No joke and then he put a divorces transfercase little past midway of the truck.

Oh oh oh and he also put a nice shifter console in the centre out of a Chevi car.

Now that I think of it I should of taken pics.

Does this make sense

Went and looked at a 62 Pontiac convertiable for my dad yesterday, as we approached it looked cherry. Not the case it was full of bondo and the floor boards under the carppet were gone

how about rot/rust? front floor and underseat?

missing trim pieces inside? (door handles, ect ect)
tailgate handle/latch work?
broken glass?
tailllights?
seats?

gonna assume the weatherstiping is shot.

It has some sort of Chevy V-8 in it. What would bolt up to the stock three on da tree tranny?

how about rot/rust? front floor and underseat?

Dont know, how easy are these to replace? I'm not scared to do it as long as the parts are available.

missing trim pieces inside? (door handles, ect ect) will look
tailgate handle/latch work? will look
broken glass? owner says its all in tact
tailllights? will look
seats? double benches, says theyre ok.

Hey Jim!! Well, this will get the SOA treatment , 35" Krawlers (maybe 37's?), and some ammenities, but I won't be hacking the body up like I usually do with my rigs I'm thinking Dune Tan or JR's green on his 60/White two tone (I know how original but I like the combo) and some body protection for that big ass.

Thanks Dr_Claw, I owe ya a

The wife and I drove up on Saturday, haggled with the guy for a while since this Cruiser was NOT how he described it over the phone. He was definitely a few spark plugs short of a V-8.

The good: front clip is nice, doors are very fixable, all glass is there except the damn windshield, rear hatch works and is relatively rust free.

The bad: broken taillight lenses, carved up the front horns

The ugly: no floors

So, I need sheetmetal, tail light lenses and a windshield. Where can I get em?

Looks like you have a little work ahead of ya, my guess your handle fox fab means you know how to work sheet metal.

Look forward to seeing the finished product.
