Any cruisers in Columbia SC?

Well i just moved to Columbia SC and was wondering if there were any cruiser folks around here. I would love to find some people to do some wheeling with once i get the truck back together( power steering).

I bought a Cruiser in Columbia once.... And one time on the way to Edisto I saw a 40 on I26 through Columbia.... There are a few guys in Clemson over on the IH8MUD board. They might be able to hook you up with some folks around Columbia. In the meantime, go Vols.

My wife and I just moved to Columbia(Irmo). We've already met 3 other Cruiser people. I've got a daily driver '71 40 and my wife has a dead '85 FJ60. So far though, it seems like there are just a bunch of stockers around here(mine included). My wife and I have run some of the easier Tellico stuff several times and we plan on SOing our dead 60 when we've got the funds. Give me(Nathan) a call at (803)270-0295.

Look up Jere and Mary Peterson. They are in Columbia and have the nicest 40, AND 45 that I have ever seen. I see them at the GSMTR every year.

Look no further. Upstate Cruisers. Nice bunch of folks.

David of "Pumpkintown" (an actual town in S.C.) who posts as "Gundy" on IH8MUD, is president. Go over there and give him a shout for membership details and I'm sure he'll know who in Columbia.

I'm one of the handful of North Carolinians who they tolerate.... we have an agreement.... I just refrain from telling them how much better NC barbecue (and everything else) is. I must say... as you'll soon discover, SC does have some fine women !!!
