33's too small for spring over?
I just aquired a BJ70, and already planning the build up. I think a spring over is going to be the lift of choice...however I only wish to run 33's for now until I can turbo it...are there any pics of swb cruisers with 33's that are sprung over? I don't want the tires to look too small while waiting for the peseos for the other mods. Thanx

I ran 33's for a few years, with 4.11s. Could go 80 comfortably on the freeway. Spring over, with F motor. Also took it on Fordyce and Rubicon.

I guess it's up to the person. Here's my HZJ-60 getting a restoration. Sitting on 37" MTR's.

BJ70's will take a 33" tire with nearly no lift at all. I ran 33's with a 1.5" body lift and flat stock springs and currently have 35" SSRs with OMEs and the body lift. Spring that baby over and it'll have room for 38's. It'll look dumb but you're not doing it for looks are you?
Heres a shot of my BJ70 on 33's and one of my buddies BJ74 sprungover on stock springs running 38s
