I am thinking about getting some new rims for a 76 FJ55. I have been looking at the american racing 767 black wagon wheels, or the comparable US Wheels. Will I have any problems with rubbing against the calipers?

They won't rub if they have the proper backspacing. Do a search and see what backspacing will work, I think it's around 3.5" or less.

Alot of 3.5" backspacing wheels will rub on both the calipers and/or the tie rod ends. Just to be safe, order them in a 3.0" back space.
