40 / 45 Series Corner Glass Differences
posted this elsewhere
with no reply so I thought that I should ask here.I just bought a pair of rear corner glass for my 1977 fj45. The guy I bought them from had a bunch of different pairs of corner glass. All were the same except THIS set. They are shorter, different radius, and skinny-er than 40 stuff. I figured they would be 45 series glass. I brought them home only to find out that the glass does not fit my 45 hard top. Close, but too tall and a little wide. No big deal, the glass was cheap. So what is it? Lets post some specs on 40 series corner glass. Years etc. Thanks

I've got one corner window that's supposed to fit an FJ45. I'll be up in Vancouver around the July 1 long weekend and I'll have it with me (unless I get rid of it sooner). The glass is not mine but the guy who owns it wants a set of rebuilt calipers (they can't get rebuilds here in Central America). I've got cores so if you want to spring for the rebuild the glass is yours!
