Loooooooooow tech question
I'm gonna buy some shifter knobs for my 1980 BJ40 from this vendor /forum/miscellaneous/288902-summit-machine-billet-atlas-knobs.html , problem is the guy asked me about the thread type on my shifters. I'm guessing the BJ and FJ series have the same thread size, so if anyone could help me indetifying the thread type that would be great!
Thanks

On the LJ70 it's the same thread as the knuckle steering stops, M12x1.25 IIRC. I will check my BJs later today.

OK, my samples range from M8x1.25 ('80 T/C) up to M12x1.25 ('83 T/C, '85 T/C & tranny), including M10x1.25 (early trannies). pitch seems to be 1.25 no matter the diameter. HTH
