Though all 4 threads were great, I had to vote for Eric D lux because his thread most closely follows the spirit of the contest - to show pictures all the way through the process, which helps you get an idea of how to do something similar if you were to try it yourself...

While all of them truly are great, his just has the most detail IMO..

But, he doesn't need the locker (I think?), since he's already locked.. maybe let him be Santa, and give it to whomever he feels needs it the most..

Wow this is really close. I wish I had photos of the whole thing but the only ones I have from beginning to end are the body work (shown) and the front axle FJ62 spring outboarding and SOA up there. I also have something like probably 400 pictures so it was tough (and very time consuming) to figure out which ones to use and to figure out where they all were because they were not all chronological. Hopeefuly the FJ62 front axle will make it to trails so this was why I can't post them and honestly I stopped taking a lot of photos for some reason. Anyway thanks guys, I checked on this thread 2 or 3 times and I don't think it's been more than 2 votes away each time...

Thanks again for the contest as well to both Bill and the cruiser folks. Same thing, it has definetely made this section of the board much better. Anyway...

Thanks Andre. It was close. I dont think there really was a clear winner.... I thought all write ups were really good. Its the first time in a long time I have been coming to the land cruiser section first instead of the general section in a long time. Thanks again everybody
