relplacing dash gauges..need info

I searched with no info on the stock 1973 fj40 fuel sending unit ohms. does anyone know what ohms they are? what ohm aftermarket gauges are you guys running? thanks

Kodi, You may want to check over on the MUD site under their tech. I know this has popped up quite a bit.

I run Autometer Phantoms and the guage that was the closes without changing the sending unit was one for a Chrysler or Ford it been a while but if I remember correctly it was 80 to 8 ohms emply to full and the cruiser was something like 100 to 4 ohms so what you get is full is full but the guage reads empty when my tank is at about an 1/4 which is plenty close for me
