Help Needed Fj60

Heres the deal

I recently swaped into my Zuk 83 FJ60 Axles. First Came the lockers. I am now installing 5.29 yukon gears. Problem is the ring gear is wide, so wide i cant get the center pin in AND i cant get the locker peices in to the differential. SO im stuck between a rock and a hard spot.

Does anyone know if theres a C-clip eliminator kit for this axle? or a solution to my issues (besides ordering a better locker)

Thanks!!!!!

Did you try grinding a couple of gear teeth down? It's pretty common when fitting in an ARB with 4.88's or 5.29's.

Yep, grinding 2 teeth a bit is the solution. I have had to do it to all my cruiser rear axles. 5.29 is actually a fair amount to make it clear.

I am assuming you are instaling a lockright, aussie,or easy locker?
You have to install the side gear pieces, set the C clips then install the center pieces one at a time, then center pin

and there lys the problem... the center peices have to go in before the ring gear due to its massiveness. is there a way to get the clips iin after the cneter pieces? i mean i took them out somehow with only taking out the springs.

Still assuming lockright?
put both side gears in and set the C clip on just one side I think its the left side you do first, there is a notch in the inner gear to drop in the C Clip after its instaled. You have to do it in a very specific order on those or it wont work.
Do you know the notch I am talking about? the gap with no teeth.
