Should I Ditch the Cruiser Hood?
I want to build a new buggy and I wanted it to be a cruiser.
I bought one of T-Fabs hoods. I thought I could jimmy it in there but it just isnt fitting. Should I ditch it or do you guys have some ideas. I really want to narrow it but dont know how I could do that with a plastic hood? So since you people are so smart what do you think?![]() ![]() ![]()

You are doing this build backwards start with the hood and work around it.

The cowl is the width of the back of the hood - roughly 51.5" center of the tube to center of the tube.
Tires are 80" to the outside. I dont want to go any wider since it is so low and I will be running 90% JV

TRD,
I think you should layout the front suspension some more before you write off the hood. Put in the motor, axle, constrain the links and see how the clearance is. I am really not sure what this pic realistically depicts.
