I am getting ready to upgrade my front axle on my 67 FJ-40. I currently have a rear ARB. I am adding a front ARB and I want to go Longfields.

Longfields web site shows 76 to present landcruiser Axles. I want to know if I can run the 30 spline set up in my 67 axle? I also have mini truck discs up front right now. Will the mini truck conversion affect the upgrade?

The Longfields will work with your mini conversion. That's the only way they'll work in a '67 axle.

Yes they will slide right in. If you did a little grinding in the ball joint.

I thought the 67 FJ40 had different joints. It is a claw design.

It has had the balls clearanced, should be a very easy project.

You gotta wheel with us someday so we can see those upgrades work.

Kent will even buff that chrome bezel for you....

The 67 doesn't have any chrome left. I powder coated everything gloss black. I also bought a Jet stage 1 Q-jet for it this week. Gonna bolt it on and see if it runs better on the steeps.

I'm also fully boxing the spring mounts next week. I will shoot you a pm so we can get together for a run. Im planning a Deer Valley Run for late Aug or early September. Lemme know if your interested? Troy
