SNT parts exchange
so i was sitting at home last night making a list of things i was supposed to bring to snt for different people and thought that this event would lend itself very well for a "parts exchange". i sent pismo jim a pm and here's what we came up with:
since so many people show up from so many arts of the country (and continent) this would be a great opportunity to bring parts for other cruiserheads or to pick them up from fellow cruiser heads. THERE WILL NOT BE A SWAP MEET AT THE BEACH. but rather a previously set up parts exchange. jim does not want anybody to set up a booth, display or garage sale type area. otherwise he'd have top get a different type of permit for the event and it will tuirn into a major hassle. this is to be strictly for parts people are looking for and have agreed to buy/sell them ahead of time. so the event will help with the exchange of goods but please bring only parts that are already spoken for and will be picked up at pismo. so if there's anything you're looking for or you're trying to sell some stuff, post up on this thread and get a buyer/seller lined up. should work out really well and will save tons of $s on shipping. exchanging parts is strictly up the the buyers/sellers. jim, his crew and i have nothing to do with it. so get your wish list or goodie list posted up and get ready for a great event at pismo!!!!!!!

Hey george, what do you want for the doors, I want to make some half doors. If they are in good shape then maybe I should not cut them up.Also will they fit a 72. Let me know.
Also if anyone has some doors that would be good to cut up for half doors, let me know.

Great idea,
I guess I'll have to take inventory of the under the house parts stash and more importantly, get to work on my wish list. Thanks Georg!

I will be bringing up a brand new ConFerr rear seat frame for Tracy, 55guy's son-in-law and a carb for Texican. Should have some more room tho.
If it gets too crowded, I'll just bring the 45!

Georg -- I have a 72. I think the hood prop wouldn't work so well on the early (center?).
What do you have? Besides the early with no center strip
