You have a BEAUTY of a truck! I, too, have dreams of a 45 pickup and can only hope that I'll find one that is clean enough to become half as nice as this one.

Been awhile again since I last updated. All glass has been installed, as well as new weather stripping and seals. Also, upgraded the little 33's to 36's.

Also tinted the rear glass.

Looks incredible!

Gonna order a black and yellow plate for it?
CA Legacy Plates

I already sent in my money for mine... just need to convince 7,499 more people to send in theirs so they start stamping them!

Do you know if they're using the old six letter font vs the seven letter font they use on the rest of the post '80 plates?

Yellow/black and black/yellow will be six digit if you choose to have them issue a sequential plate. The blue/yellow would be 7 digit sequential. I'm keeping my personalized plate (4WD) but having it done in black/yellow to match my 60'ies cruiser.

Are they going to use the old wider letters with the sequential plates
or the current skinnier letters (font) that is used on the seven digit plates?

That is one nice looking 45. Good motivator to get out and get some wrenching done on mine.

Thanks guys! Yeah I have the Pre-order filled out, but kinda bummed about the 2 plus year timeline they have for the plates. I have a set of original black plates, but they are still in the system registered to a 66 GMC.

My impression of the two year timeline was if 7,500 haven't put in their money within the 2 years, then the project gets canceled. Otherwise as soon as the 7500 applicants have their money in, the plates get stamped. So get your money in, you're holding the rest of us up!

Yeah I was kind of thinking that too, but I wish they would keep us updated on the pre-order list.

Looks GREAT, Jeff. Could you PM me with your (hopefully affordable) source for the window rubber?
