ok so the stock cruiser axles are just not holding up for me i am running a 78 fj40 with 35 inch boggers, i have made the normal improvments (longfields, mini truck knuckles, full hydro steering) but i want to jump to a 39.5 bogger and i dont think they(stock axle) will hold up..
i am running a 6.2 diesel and a sm465,
so my question is how much biger is the pumkin on a dana 60? am i going to have to runn a 44 to get the same ground clearance? seams like a waste of time to me...
i am leaning hard twards mog axles but the $ factor is keepin me from diving in.

any great ideas floating around out there?

any one know where i can get a set of mog axles? i think i want to go with a set of 406's so that i can run a 16.5 rim....

Why not a 609 axle??
