peesalot/MetalTech tube fenders DONE!
I got in on the group buy for the tube fenders, and finally finished them up. I figured I would throw pix of them completed up here. Sorry for the lame ass garage shot. Stupid clutch master cylinder took a crap on me. It is on order.

Kind of Ironic. "peesalot" was on my iggy list for some unknown reason a while back. I have no idea why

they look great! I dig those turn signals. Mine still sit in the garage collecting rust
![]() A couple questions... About how log did they take to make? Do you think you could have turned the outside tube inward to kick the down tube toward the tub, and still have the sheet metal attach to the tube without any odd cupping, etc? nice work! -Dustin

Nice work. You did a really good job blending in the welds on the sheet metal.
How did the main support turn out for the passenger side with the factory batter mount?

Hmmm... I am trying to visualize what you are saying. I am betting it would dome the sheetmetal pretty good, and droop the outer edge a bit. I can't take credit for the welds. It cost some beer, but not much. Took two afternoons to build them up. blending the sheet metal took a lot of that time. I used spot filler in a few places. I also ran a bead of sealant on the underside between the tubing and sheetmetal to keep water from collecting. Gotta figure out inner fenders now. As for the factory battery mount, I'll snap a pic tomorrow. Mine isn't stock, but it uses the stock pedastal. I had to notch the tray just a bit. The only complaint is the bib mount bracket. Would have like to have had it cover the 2 factory holes for the apron. I am guessing the supplied brackets were for the non stock height fenders.

Have you thought about adding a removeable rubber mat type inner fender? Engine compartment cleanup will suck after you blow thru the first mudhole

I have thought about sheetmetal, plastic, etc for inner fenders. Still undecided
