I need everyone to help out here, many of ya' met these guys last year and will this year at the Roundup....the music industry is about the breaks and John D Hale Band is deserving.
BTW it is the pair second from the bottom on the LH side of this page.....

Hey everyone,

Hope this email finds everybody doing well and staying warm.

We have a little exciting news , we made the first cut on CMT's Music City Madness Video contest . Out of over 1000 entrys we were chosen as one of the top 64.

But, here is were we need all of our friends to help out . This is a fan voted contest , so we need everybody to vote. You need to go to www.madness.cmt.com , click on "watch and vote" and then vote for the John D. Hale Band's video "Stake our Claim Again" . You are allowed to vote as many times as possible , so this should give you plenty to do while your surfing the net at work

Thanks to everybody for there support and lets show Nashville and CMT that real music can make it!!!!!! Don't forget to vote for our buddies Renegade Rail while you are there . i'm not huge on country music but these guys knocked it out at katemcy last year. good to hear they're doing well and that they'll be laying again this year.

I thought they were great at the Round-Up last year. I even tried to get a CD off their web siet, but I never received it. Still good rockabilly stuff though.

Just thought that I would give everybody a little background on this song and video. I grew up on a family ranch in Southeast Missouri and still live on the same ranch. About 7-8 years ago people started subdividing the land all around us and now there are nothing but subdivsions on all 4 sides of us and there isn't any more "country" left around us. It just seems that everywhere you turn everything is being commercialized........everything from farms and land to todays shitty country music. But, what do you do, move on and not say anything and let it happen all over again or tell 'em to eat shit ? Sorry for the rambling , but this is probably the best song that I've written(in my opinion) and with out a doubt the one I'm most proud of. Hope y'all like it !!!!

Anyway, just want to say, again, THANKS to everyone for your support of the John D. Hale Band. We all truly appreciate each and everyone of you!
