new to cruisers and have sm420???'s
Heres what I got
93 tbi 350 con diesel sm420 mated to an atlas II frnt & rear 60's So my question is I ordered a t/o bearing from AA for the 420 but it does seem to fit over the input shaft. Does the con diesel's have bigger inputs??? Also I have a iron bellhousing with the shift fork on the passenger side, I was trying to find what that might be off so I could order a bolt on slave. Any input would be great...

a standard gm 12" clutch set should work. no need to go with AA stuff. i'd recommend using the LUK clutch part # 04-064. you might want to measure the front bearing retainer and call luk's tech line just in case.
AA does make a slave cylinder bracket that allows you to run the cruiser slave on the gm angine and trans. that setup works well. best of luck and welcome to the club!

the slave bracket wont work because the shift fork is in the passenger side ,I have one here. I already have a centerforce flywheel, pressure plate and disk that all works fine , but the release bearing i bought from AA wont fit and its supposed too. I m gonna try and call novak today they deal with the con diesel sm420's.

I think I might have figured it out. They po had a amc bellhousing on it and novak's website says something about sleeving the bearing retainer where the t/o bearing rides on when its in a heep. I m gonna go check that out and see if that is the correct diameter
