FJ 60 snorkle template
I purchased a used snorkle for my FJ . Does anyone have a template I can use? I called ARB and the send me a homemade handdrawn three page something that does not make any sense. Especially put next to the fender. Thanks.

Mike,
You have to drill 5 holes. In addition, you must remove the washer bottle to gain access to the inner fender to tighten the fasteners. Four for the studs to mount to the fender and one large hole for the duct to pass through. Center to center on the four mounting points is pretty easy. Drill those out to .375" dia. The duct hole gets holesawed to just under 4". Placement of the snorkel main body to the fender and up the A pillar is as simple as aligning to a good visual. Tape off the fender and start measuring relative a known edge and go for it! Be certain to deburr all sharp edges and paint to avoid rust. Good Luck! john
