Jack, your 40 has been my favorite since CM where you tugged my 3-legged 4Runner over obstacles after I broke a CV on Golden Crack.
Wish I was in a position to buy it. Phil

I am not partial, but Jacks 45 build is what lit the fire under me to get going on mine.

It beautiful man! What are some of the current specs and whose tube fenders are on the front, or did you make them? |

350/TH350/ stock 3 speed t-case from a 72. All new wiring harness from EZ Wiring. Stock axles front and rear with Longfields and ARB's front and rear and 2" wheel spacers. Saginaw power steering with 1 ton tre's and 4x4 labs hi steer arms. 37/12.50 IROK Radials on Aluminum Trail Ready's Full family cage with PRP seats (PRP Preemy for my daughter in the rear) mounted to the cage via removable seat bars with five points all around and frame ties at all pillars. Tube sliders with some dimple die action. Tube fenders. Tmax 9K winch ALL of the work with the exception of a little help on the wiring and a buddy of mine helping me set up the arb's was done by me. The tube fenders are mine. I wanted something different than everything else I was seeing out there so I just built my own. I also incorperated my front shock mounts, air compressor mount, upper radiator mount, and battery tray in them. They use the stock mounting bolts but I wanted a cleaner look to how the tube attached to the mounting plate so mine are notched so that half of the tube rests on to of the frame and the rest tapers down to a point at the bottom of the frame. (see the first crappy pic which was taken prior to the shock mounts being done). The mounting plate is broke at a 90 so that it wraps around the top and side of the frame rail. In the second pic you can see how the inner and outer tubes come together to a point at the rear of the fender matching up to the bottom of the cowl. I can get more pics of the other details in the fenders tonight if anyone is interested... ![]() ![]() EDIT: Oh and a custom swing out tail gate...
