Anyone want my FJ45?

The motor that is
I finally pulling the old F out of my 1963 FJ45 and dropping a 5VZFE Tacoma motor and tranny in.
This F is a great runner, always starts, idles smooth, drives great. It would be a perfect for someone doing a factory resoration, or just needing a good F motor. With it you get the 3 speed (on the floor shift) and Tcase. I just drove her around for the last time today. You can still hear it run for a couple more days, if ya want.
100$ takes Motor,tranny,tcase.
Its in Klamath Falls Oregon,(13 Miles from Cali) But I do come south quite a bit to go wheeling. Be Northern CA in later this month and down to the Hammers in late Feb.

Justin

This rig is a little strange, I think cause Toyota was still using up all their FJ25 parts in 1963 cause this has a FJ25 intake manifold and a FJ25 Rearend but a off set Tcase
Couple pics of the motor

What carb is on there? I'll give ya $$$ for it if its a large sight glass single barrel carb.

And it really has a centered rear end with an FJ25 diff? That IS odd. Does it have FJ25 single wheel cylinder drum brakes too?

get in line mike!

as far as the centered rear axle goes, i had one in a 62 and a 63 fj40, both came with the offset t-case. i've seen another one in a 63 as well.

Its a Rochester I am sure the OEM one was trashed years and years ago. Yea its got a FJ25 rearend, strange little 45, cool though. I am kinda sad to take it away from its origional parts but it's gotta be updated if I am driving this thing to Baja several thousand miles, and backcountry roads in the USA.

That would be fine with me I will just throw it on the tralier with the 40. As long as I don't have to drive all over Stockton to get to the drop off point You can just pay for it when I get there, no rush.

Baja 45 is in. Building the Taco would be way less work but then I still have the 45 that has to get done. May as well stick with plan A and build one rig. I already got enough crap
