I need someone to measure their stock shackles...eye-to-eye. I need to fab some new ones...the PO put one some Downey aluminum shackles that are now fused to the shackle bolts...had to cut them off...thanks in advance!

2 13/16" center to center, front a rear are the same on my rig.
It's a 76 FJ40 in case that matters. Butch

hey yellowcruiser...are they stock length shackles? or are they 1 1/2" taller than stock? If they are stock I'd be interested if the price is right...of course you need to understand that I can fab my own for free...so the price has to be really good...I assume you have front and rear? Let me know!

Do you still need stock shackles? I have one pair, if you want I will sell them to you for $10.
Yellowcrusier- Jason, If you still have the shackles I still really need a set for the rear. I went wheelin this last weekend and inverted both rear springs twice. I never figured I would need the longer shackles when I gave you mine, but the new 37's are just so heavy the springs go to full droop and the shackles invert almost immediately. I was hoping the one time it happened the first day of the Rubithon would be it. |
