Getting closer. The chassis is good to go, paint, assembled, yada yada. The cab is 95% done body work wise. Worked on the fenders, hood and skirts last night. Should be able to primer it this weekend then get the bed caught up.

Welding spiders? Just MIG them. Never had a problem with it.

we usually preheat a bit (helps burn off the oil too) weld them up ive always used stick but thats cause its what i have. then bury in sandblast sand/kitty litter to cool slowly then clean it up and re assemble

Details kill me. But this will be worth the effort when I am done. I filled in all the threaded parts of the old knobs with machinable epoxy then taped to fit new switches.
Dash is much simpler and cleaner than it was from the factory or after whoever owned this drilled holes.
Gages are updated and added LED light rope stuff.

Kinda.... I took the body to my body guy for paint. I did 99% of the body work he's gonna do some finish work and paint. Toyota spring green white cap

Where did you find those gauges at there awsome.. Nice job my gauges in my cruiser aren't working an trying to find a another way to fix the stock gauges
